Before you Apply
Before submitting your application, please ensure you have reviewed the requirements below. Applications submitted without these required documents cannot be approved.
Colorado Sales Tax License
All vendors selling taxable products are required to hold a valid Colorado State Sales Tax License.
The following do not meet this requirement:
• Colorado Multiple Event Sales Tax Licenses
• City-only sales tax licenses
• Wholesale licenses
Vendors must provide a copy of their Colorado State Sales Tax License as part of the application process.

Insurance Requirements
All vendors are required to carry General Liability Insurance with a minimum coverage limit of $1,000,000.
Your Certificate of Insurance (COI) uploaded in your application must list the following as Additional Insured:

Vendors must provide a correct COI as part of the application process.
Food & Beverage Vendors
Additional licensing, permits, and training is required depending on how and where food products are prepared.
Prepared and Value-Added Food Vendors are required to provide a Retail Food Establishment License or Temporary Food Establishment Permit as part of the application process.
Please note that Ouray County does not issue Temporary Food Establishment Permits. Vendors may submit a valid permit issued by another Colorado county.

The State of Colorado provides clear guidance to help vendors determine which category applies to their products. We strongly encourage reviewing the resources below before applying, as requirements differ depending on how and where food is prepared.

Important
Applications submitted without the required documentation will be denied. Once all required documentation has been obtained, a new application and application fee must be submitted for reconsideration.

To join the Ridgway Farmers Market, all vendors must complete the full application, pay the application fee and review both our Market Rules and Safety Plan.
Incomplete applications cannot be accepted — please be sure to include your Certificate of Liability Insurance (listing Ridgway Farmers Market as additional insured) and your Colorado Sales Tax License.By submitting your application, you confirm that you have read and agree to follow our Market Rules and Safety Plan.

Vendor Fee Structure
You may choose between a seasonal or daily rate.Seasonal Booths:
12×10 ft: $330 (or $343 if paying by credit/debit)
24×10 ft: $6330 (or $655 if paying by credit/debit)
36×10 ft: $915 (or $951 if paying by credit/debit)
Daily Vendors:
12×10 ft: $55 per day
Non-Profit Vendors (12×10 ft): $15 per day
Application Fee (required for all vendors): $37
Fees help cover park rental, market insurance, and community programming such as live music and outreach initiatives.

All items sold at the Ridgway Farmers Market must be hand-produced by the vendor. Mass production or reselling is not permitted.
