Feeding Our Community
Access to fresh, local food should be possible for everyone.
At the Ridgway Farmers Market, we’re proud to partner with programs that make that possible — connecting families with fresh produce, locally raised meats, eggs, and baked goods straight from our vendors’ hands to yours.
SNAP
(Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
The Ridgway Farmers Market accepts SNAP benefits through EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer).
Stop by the Market Manager tent first — we’ll help you swipe your card and provide vouchers to spend with participating vendors.
SNAP benefits can be used for:
Fresh fruits and vegetables
Bread, jams, meats, cheeses, and honey
Starter vegetable plants
(SNAP cannot be used for ready-to-eat foods.)
Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB)
We’re also proud to offer Double Up Food Bucks, a matching program that doubles SNAP dollars — up to $20 per market day.
That means more fresh, local food for Colorado families!
Use your DUFB vouchers to buy Colorado-grown fruits and vegetables from participating vendors.
WIC (Women, Infants, and Children)
$20 WIC vouchers can be used at the market to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, and meats.
These vouchers are available through the local WIC office and can be redeemed directly with participating vendors at the market.
Family Wellness Program
$20 Family Wellness vouchers can be used at the market to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, and meats.
These vouchers are available through the local WIC office and can be redeemed directly with participating vendors at the market.
