As we gather in Hartwell Park this Friday, we do so on a date that carries special meaning for so many.
September 11 is a day to remember the lives lost, honor those who answered the call to help, and recognize the courage and service of first responders, service members, and ordinary people who stepped forward in extraordinary circumstances.
More than two decades later, it remains a reminder of the importance of community—of showing up for one another, helping our neighbors, and remembering those who came before us.
